Physics of Life and Stuff
Physics of Life and Stuff (PLS) is a student-driven research group based in the Department of Mathematics and Physics, College of Science, University of Santo Tomas. The group brings together undergraduate and graduate students from Applied Physics, Data Science and Analytics, and Medical Physics who share a common interest in understanding how physics underpins life, matter, and medicine. Built on curiosity, collaboration, and resilience, PLS thrives on discussion, computation, theory, and shared learning to explore meaningful scientific questions and openly share knowledge with the wider community. What we do:
- Collaborative student-led research and discussions
- Computational and theoretical exploration of physical systems
- Training in scientific thinking, research methods, and communication
